Associate Attorney Career Consulting Partners is proud to partner with a premier Los Angeles–based civil litigation law firm known for handling complex, high-impact matters. The firm’s practice areas include police misconduct and civil rights, personal injury and wrongful death, nursing home neglect and abuse, employment law, and business and contract litigation . We are seeking an Associate Attorney with meaningful federal litigation experience to join the firm’s growing Downtown Los Angeles office. This position offers hands-on responsibility for sophisticated matters, close collaboration with seasoned trial attorneys, and the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing in federal court , thrives in a fast-paced and complex litigation environment, and is driven by work that delivers meaningful results for clients. Key Responsibilities: Handle all phases of civil litigation in state and federal courts Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Conduct and defend depositions Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and motion practice Manage a caseload of approximately 10–15 active matters Work directly with partners on complex litigation strategy and trial preparation Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of federal litigation experience (5+ years strongly preferred) Experience in civil rights, consumer, employment, or personal injury litigation Strong motion practice and discovery skills Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy abilities California Bar membership in good standing Ability to work independently while collaborating in a small, elite team Compensation and Benefits: Salary: $170,000 - $240,000 Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and continuing legal education support Trial-focused firm with a strong courtroom presence Manageable caseload allowing for high-quality advocacy Direct access to partners and meaningful responsibility Opportunity to work on high-profile, high-impact cases Location: Los Angeles, CA 90010 Please note that we at Career Consulting Partners will be sure to keep your information private.
