Work may occur in active, customer-occupied spaces, including hospital-controlled environments, requiring a high level of professionalism, safety awareness, and communication. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and perform the installation of twisted pair, coaxial, power-limited tray cable, stranded and solid conductor low-voltage cabling, CAT-5/6, and single-mode and multi-mode fiber. Use multi-meters and testing tools to verify connectivity and ensure proper termination to copper standards. Escalate high-risk or unfamiliar tasks to ensure the correct level of support is provided. Assess and respond to site or scope changes in real time, escalating issues that may impact schedule, budget, or resources. Utilize company tools including Order Packages, SSPs, SNAPSHOT, network diagrams, QA checklists, punch lists, and closeout documentation. Provide clear, timely status updates to internal teams and external stakeholders. Handle requests for change (RFCs) and field change orders (FCOs) as required. Communicate installation details, timelines, and expectations clearly to customers when asked. Support client interactions and meet with customers to confirm satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient in structured cabling, patch panels, troubleshooting, and installing end devices in commercial environments. Strong experience working in hospital-controlled and other sensitive, live environments. Proven ability to lead crews professionally and to standard. Confident reading construction prints and coordinating daily work plans. Strong understanding of safety practices, especially within healthcare and customer-occupied facilities. Ability to articulate scope, installation approach, and timelines to both clients and internal teams. Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment. Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education, training, and experience. 2–5 years of hands-on experience installing cabling and electronic systems, including telecom, TCP/IP networks, CCTV, security, access control, and wireless systems. Benefits and Pay: Pay Range: $32-$38 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Health Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Retirement Plan: 401K plan with employer contribution match. Paid Time Off: Generous paid time off, including holidays and vacation days. Professional Development: Industry-leading training programs and opportunities for career advancement. Team Culture: Regular team-building events, community involvement programs, and yearly holiday parties to foster a strong team atmosphere.Place of work
