Department: Sales Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Guwahati CTC: ₹10 LPA (for all locations) About the Role The Business-to-Government (B2G) Sales professional will be responsible for driving sales and business growth through government agencies, PSUs, and turnkey contractors. The position focuses on developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding government procurement systems, and achieving sales and collection targets in the project sales domain. Key Objectives The goal of this role is to build trust and credibility with government departments and nodal agencies by demonstrating expertise, reliability, and compliance. The B2G Sales professional will position the organization as a trusted partner for government and institutional projects. Key Responsibilities Generate revenue by acquiring business from Government Contractors, Turnkey Contractors , and through approvals from government nodal agencies . Drive sales and collection targets in project sales and commercial segments. Maintain strong relationships with government departments, PSUs, and key contractors . Identify new business opportunities and manage the end-to-end tendering and bidding process . Ensure compliance with government procurement procedures, e-tendering, and GeM portal processes . Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth project execution and timely revenue realization. Behavioral Attributes & Competencies Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with government officials. Sound knowledge of government procurement systems , bidding platforms , and contract regulations . Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) for reporting and data management. Highly motivated, result-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure. Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Qualification & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce , or related field. Experience: 9–11 years in B2G or Institutional Sales , preferably within electrical, infrastructure, or project-based industries . Proven experience in handling government accounts, contractors, and nodal agency approvals .
