This is an opportunity to contribute to precedent-shaping insurance coverage litigation, working on disputes tied to environmental exposure, product liability, and other complex risks impacting global markets. What You'll Do Draft litigation documents including motions, briefs, pleadings, and strategic memoranda Handle all aspects of case development, from discovery and depositions to trial prep and appeals Perform nuanced legal research and contribute to innovative arguments Conduct detailed analysis of insurance policies and liability risks Partner with clients, internal teams, experts, and opposing counsel to manage litigation outcomes Prepare coverage opinions and help evaluate disputes involving complex contractual and regulatory issues Who You Are This role is designed for litigation associates with a sharp legal mind, strong communication skills, and the drive to navigate high-stakes disputes. Required: 4-6 years of litigation experience (class of 2019/2021 only) Solid understanding of complex case management; experience in insurance coverage litigation is a plus Outstanding legal writing and oral advocacy skills DC Bar license (active and in good standing) Law firm experience with an Am Law 100/200 firm or comparable setting Consistent work history with strong academic credentials Preferred: Background or interest in environmental or product liability litigation Prior clerkship experience, particularly with the U.S. District Court or Appellate Court Why This Role?
