Responsibilities of the Design Technology Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Design Technology curriculum. Foster a positive, collaborative, and creative learning environment. Participate in both departmental and school-wide activities. Qualifications and Experience: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS). A degree in Design Technology or a related field. Experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary school level. Knowledge of the UK curriculum and A Level specifications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
