Location: Remote Contract Duration: 1 YEAR (with high possibility of extension) Contract details: B2B/ SRL or PFA Start Date: ASAP Experience Level: Senior (7–10 Years) Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer with a deep focus on Python and Cloud Automation to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and building robust solutions that interact with Public Cloud APIs and Linux-based infrastructure. This role is ideal for a developer who excels in problem-solving, enjoys working with cloud-native services, and has a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms. Key Responsibilities Cloud Solutions Development: Design and implement scalable services using Public Cloud APIs (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native architectures. Automation & Scripting: Develop complex automation workflows and system-level scripts using Python and Bash . System Design: Apply strong architectural principles to build reliable, high-performance software, ensuring efficient data structures and algorithmic logic. Linux Integration: Operate and develop within Linux environments, managing file systems and storage configurations. Project Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of tasks, driving them from conceptual design to completion within an Agile framework. Collaboration: Utilize JIRA for task management and GitHub for version control and code reviews, ensuring high-quality delivery. Required Skills & Experience Professional Experience: 7–10 years of software development experience with a mastery of Python . Public Cloud Mastery: Mandatory experience in developing solutions that consume Public Cloud APIs and leverage cloud-native services. Scripting: Advanced proficiency in Bash and system-level scripting. Computer Science Foundations: Strong expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design . OS Knowledge: Expert-level familiarity with the Linux platform. Tools: Practical experience using JIRA for project tracking and GitHub for collaborative development. Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills Storage Systems: Familiarity with File Systems (NFS, ext4) and Object Storage (S3, Blob Storage) is a significant plus. Database Knowledge: Familiarity with at least one enterprise database system: SAP HANA, Sybase ASE, MaxDB, DB2, or MSSQL . Complex Systems: Exposure to complex product ecosystems or rule-based systems.
