About the position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic school in Stoke on Trent. The ideal candidate will inspire students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 to develop a love for Mathematics and achieve their full potential through engaging lessons and real-world applications of mathematical principles. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Develop and implement a challenging and stimulating curriculum that aligns with national standards. Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their understanding of key mathematical concepts. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages students to actively participate and excel in Maths. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continued development of the department. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Mathematics or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3, KS4, and KS5. Excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum, including A-Level Maths.
