About the position

Join our forward-thinking school in Stoke on Trent as a Computing Teacher. We are seeking an innovative and passionate individual to teach Computing at KS3 to KS5 and help students explore the exciting and ever-changing world of technology. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and relevant Computing lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Design a curriculum that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of technology. Monitor and assess student progress through a variety of methods, providing regular feedback. Create a positive and dynamic classroom atmosphere that encourages students to explore their interests in Computing. Collaborate with other departments to share best practices and support students’ technological development. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Computing, Computer Science, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Experience teaching Computing at KS3, KS4, and KS5. Strong knowledge of programming, digital technologies, and software development.
