Role: English Teacher As an English Teacher , you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of English. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of literature, language, and writing. Your role will include: As an English Teacher , you should be planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful English lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, KS5 preferable). Encouraging students to apply literary analysis and critical thinking skills in various contexts. Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure the assessment and monitoring of student progress in English. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the English department. As a qualified English Teacher , you will be expected to attend departmental meetings. Key Qualities We Are Looking For: A strong passion for English literature and language, and a desire to support students' understanding. A recognized teaching qualification in English, or equivalent. Experience in teaching English to secondary-aged students is highly desirable. A passion for developing young people academically and critically. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a stimulating and collaborative team.
