Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer / Senior Procurement Specialist Location: Doha, Qatar Employment Type: Permanent (Direct Recruitment) Industry: Textile Manufacturing Language Requirement: English NOC: Required Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer/Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement activities for a textile manufacturing setup. The role involves sourcing raw materials, accessories, and services while ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery from suppliers. Key Responsibilities Manage the complete procurement cycle, from requirement planning to supplier delivery Source and procure raw materials, accessories, and services required for textile manufacturing Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best cost, quality, and delivery terms Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality-related issues Coordinate with production, planning, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations Prepare and analyze procurement reports, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules Qualifications & Experience Graduate degree (mandatory) Minimum 8+ years of experience in procurement Strong exposure to textile manufacturing industry Proven experience in sourcing raw materials and accessories Good negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management Excellent communication skills in English Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities Cost optimization and strategic sourcing expertise Good coordination and stakeholder management skills
