Function Owner; Automotive / EV Propulsion and Motion Systems

About the position

Our Automotive client based in Gothenburg is seeking a Function Owner for Electric Vehicle Propulsion and Motion systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a specific function, from its development to customer delivery. This includes collecting input requirements, creating function descriptions and requirement documents, analyzing software requirement tests, ensuring system safety, and leading function owner meetings. If you have a background in the automotive industry, experience as a Function Owner, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for a specific function, from development to customer delivery. Collect input requirements: Attribute requirements from attribute leader (e.g., Vehicle dynamics). Legal requirements. Feature requirements, if applicable. Create Function Description & Requirement (FDR) and Functional Design Architecture (FDA) documents. Initiate and perform reviews of FDRs with concerned parties. Analyze Software Requirement Tests (SWRT) to understand function maturity. Update and maintain Function Realization (FRx). Ensure implementation and testing of requirements towards different subsystems. Ensure the existence of Design Verification Matrices (DVMs) for both functional and safety requirements. Ensure system safety, including hazard analysis and Functional Safety Concept. Lead function owner meetings, involving various stakeholders. Follow up on function-related Software Improvement Items (SWIs) to ensure resolution. Qualifications and Skills Required: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Experience in Propulsion System/Motion System area beneficial but not essential. Previous experience as a Function Owner. Experience with System Weaver or similar tools, Jira, and standard office programs. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English. If this interest you then please apply ASAP!
