Head of English - Champion Literacy and Inspire Students in Newham! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of English to join our team in Newham. You will lead a thriving department and champion literacy across the school. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the English department. Develop and implement an engaging and challenging English curriculum. Lead and manage a team of dedicated English teachers. Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to ensure high attainment. Lead on departmental CPD and ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in English or a related subject. Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
