About the position
Purpose of the Role: The Project-Based Skilled Welder (2025-2807) is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including joining, modifying, fabricating, and repairing equipment and metal components for a specific project. Key Responsibilities: Perform precise welding and cutting tasks according to project specifications and safety standards. Fabricate and install pipe supports, barricades, and other metal components. Assemble and prepare metal structures for installation, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity. Set up ladders, scaffolding, and platforms for safe welding operations. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior. What we're looking for: Graduate of a vocational course specializing in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or any mechanical engineering-related program. With at least one year of hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication Must hold a National Certificate II (NC II) in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Has strong integrity, honesty, reliability, and commitment to quality workPlace of work
