About the position
An Outstanding Academy in Islington requires a permanent, full-time Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Science (specialising in Physics), starting January 2026. Join a high-performing Science department. Responsibilities You will deliver structured instruction in Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE), with some teaching in your Physics specialism at KS5. Your core focus is driving high attainment and cultivating theoretical knowledge and experimental practice in Physics. You must fully engage with the ECT support and mentoring programme and contribute to science extension clubs. Requirements You must hold or be soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
