About the position

A prestigious Boys’ School in Ealing is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our Technology department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore culinary arts and nutrition. About Our Learning Community: Our school values practical skills and encourages students to explore food technology. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Food Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE. Develop and implement lesson plans covering culinary techniques, nutrition, and food safety. Facilitate student-led cooking projects and experiments. Assess student progress through practical assessments and written evaluations. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the food technology curriculum. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as cooking clubs and food festivals. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Food Technology or a related field. Extensive experience teaching food technology at the secondary level, preferably in a boys’ school setting. Proficiency in culinary techniques and food safety.
