A prestigious Boys' School in Richmond is seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (German) Teacher to join our Languages department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of German language and culture. About Our Learning Community: Our school values linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging German lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level. Develop and implement lesson plans covering German grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies. Facilitate student-led conversations and cultural projects. Assess student progress through speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the German curriculum. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as German clubs and cultural events. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in German or Modern Foreign Languages. Extensive experience teaching German at the secondary level, preferably in a boys' school setting. Native or near-native fluency in German. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
