About the position

A diverse Mixed Comprehensive School in Southall is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our Humanities department on a part-time, fixed-term basis. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore religious and ethical questions. About Our Learning Community: Our school values religious understanding and encourages students to explore diverse perspectives. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level. Develop and implement lesson plans covering religious theology, ethics, and world religions. Facilitate student-led discussions, debates, and presentations. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and examinations. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the RE curriculum. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as religious studies clubs and interfaith dialogues. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher with a strong background in Religious Education or Theology. Experience teaching RE at the secondary level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. A passion for fostering religious understanding and ethical reflection.
