About the position

A caring Catholic School in Southall is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our Humanities department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of language and literature within a faith-based environment. About Our Learning Community: Our school values literary exploration and encourages students to develop their communication skills. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level. Develop and implement lesson plans focusing on language analysis, creative writing, and literary studies. Facilitate student-led discussions, debates, and presentations. Assess student progress through written assignments, presentations, and examinations. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the English curriculum. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as writing clubs and drama productions. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in English. Extensive experience teaching English at the secondary level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. A passion for fostering a love of language and literature.
