About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a Biology specialism to join an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal Science Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Biology. We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum, focusing on Biology. Prepare students for GCSE examinations and practical assessments. Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills, especially in Biology. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of science resources. Organise and lead biology-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science, with a focus on Biology. Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Biology. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Benefits Inner London Payscale. Regular social events.
