The Science Department runs a broad curriculum and regular practical activities that require reliable technical support. Key Responsibilities Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for science practicals. Maintaining laboratories, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-organised. Managing chemicals and equipment according to health and safety guidelines. Assisting teachers with demonstrations and practical activities. Supporting stock control, ordering supplies, and equipment maintenance. Requirements Previous experience as a Science Technician (preferred) or strong scientific knowledge. Understanding of laboratory safety and COSHH regulations. Good organisational and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced department.
