Sales Administrative Officer

About the position

Company: European food-service group — Middle East operations Job purpose Provide day-to-day sales administration and customer support for the Middle East region. Ensure accurate order processing, timely coordination with operations and logistics, and excellent service for key accounts in Iraq, Syria and Jordan while liaising with the European head office. Key responsibilities Order management Receive, validate and confirm purchase orders (POs) from regional customers. Enter orders and create new customer accounts in the company system in coordination with the European head office. Coordinate with operations, warehouse and logistics to confirm product availability, packing lists and dispatch schedules. Communicate price updates, product innovations and other commercial changes to distributors and internal teams. Monitor and report on the commercial budget for the Middle East region. Customer relationship & support Act as primary point of contact for assigned customers handle inquiries, provide product information and resolve routine issues. Follow up on quotations, coordinate meetings and ensure timely customer correspondence. Support sales colleagues with key account activities and special requests. Sales administration & reporting Maintain accurate sales trackers, customer records and CRM entries. Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including turnover by country and performance vs targets. Produce ad-hoc reports and basic data analysis using Excel and ERP/BI tools to support the sales team. Requirements Experience: 2–3 years in sales coordination, sales administration or customer service within the food industry (FMCG, dairy or premium confectionery preferred). Regional experience: Proven exposure to GCC / Middle East markets; experience managing customers in Iraq, Syria and Jordan is a plus. Technical skills: Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel); experience with ERP/CRM systems and familiarity with Power BI advantageous. Languages: Excellent English; Arabic highly desirable. Abilities: Strong attention to detail, organised, good prioritisation skills and ability to work under pressure. Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Supply Chain or related field. Location & working conditions Office-based role at JAFZA, Dubai. Regular liaison with regional teams and the European head office
