About the position

About the Role An Independent school in Islington requires a skilled Science Teacher with a Physics specialism, starting ASAP for a temporary, part-time position. The right Science Teacher will deliver engaging physics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum, focusing on Physics. Prepare students for assessments and examinations. Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills in Physics. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of science resources. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science, with a focus on Physics. Proven experience teaching science at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to engage and motivate students. Benefits Inner London Payscale (pro-rata).
