About the position

Lead and inspire advanced Science learning in our outstanding Redbridge school! TLR available. We are seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher with a focus on KS5 leadership (ability to teach at least one science to A-Level) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to take on significant leadership responsibilities with a TLR in our A-Level Science provision. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3-5, specializing in at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at A-Level. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment, particularly for KS5 students. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learners, especially at A-Level. Lead the development of the Science curriculum and resources for A-Level. Degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a strong emphasis on A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum, especially at KS5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership potential in KS5 delivery (for TLR consideration). Ability to teach at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to A-Level.
