About the Role An Outstanding girls school in Islington is looking for a dynamic Media Studies Teacher to join their humanities department. You will deliver engaging media studies lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering students' critical understanding of media and its influence. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Media Studies Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for examinations and assessments. Develop students' critical understanding of media and its influence. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the media studies curriculum and resources. Organise and lead media-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Media Studies. Proven experience in teaching media studies at secondary level, including A-Level.
