About the Role A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their esteemed mathematics department. You'll inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3-5. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes. Develop students' analytical and problem-solving skills through mathematical inquiry. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and resources. Organise and lead maths-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics. Proven experience in teaching mathematics at secondary level, including A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematical inquiry. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
