About the Role A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join their technology department. You'll teach engaging computer science lessons across Key Stages 3-5, equipping students with essential digital skills for the 21st century. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science Teacher lessons, covering core programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Develop students' computational thinking and problem-solving skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the computer science curriculum and resources. Organise and lead computer science-related extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs and robotics workshops. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computer Science. Proven experience in teaching computer science at secondary level. Strong programming skills and knowledge of computer science concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
