Location: Enfield Status: Outstanding Ofsted Secondary School Start Date: ASAP Start – Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity A well-regarded secondary school in Enfield is seeking a proactive School Caretaker to manage the security and maintenance of the site. This is a vital role that ensures the school remains a safe and clean environment for both staff and pupils. You will be part of a dedicated estates team that takes pride in the appearance and functionality of the school buildings and grounds. Core Responsibilities You will serve as a primary key-holder, managing the daily opening and closing of the school and responding to out-of-hours emergencies if required. The role includes performing general repairs, decorating, and supervising external contractors during major works. You will also be responsible for regular safety checks, including fire alarm testing and water temperature monitoring to comply with health and safety legislation. Requirements & Salary Previous experience in site maintenance or a building trade is essential. The salary is based on the local government pay scale for Enfield.Place of work
