Compensation & Contract Job Title: Teacher of Science Contract: Maternity Cover, Full-Time Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Paid on the Outer London Teachers' Pay Scales (MPS/UPS). The Role The successful Teacher of Science will teach Physics across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level), supporting students towards highly competitive university places. The Teacher of Science will inspire intellectual curiosity and scientific excellence in all pupils through high-quality practical lessons. The Teacher of Science will be expected to engage fully with the school's coaching and continuous professional development programme. This Maternity Cover role requires a highly professional and dynamic Teacher of Science. The appointed Teacher of Science must be committed to tracking and ensuring high progress and attainment for the duration of the cover.
