A prestigious Outstanding primary school in Manchester seeks a reflective Year 5 Teacher to join the upper KS2 team on a Part-Time basis from January 2026 . This Part-Time Year 5 Teacher role is designed to offer excellent classroom impact within a flexible working pattern: the Part-Time Year 5 Teacher will teach focused days and retain involvement in planning and assessment from January 2026 . The Year 5 Teacher will be supported by a strong phase team and a leadership group committed to staff wellbeing. • Year 5 Teacher required for a Part-Time position starting January 2026 • Year 5 Teacher role at an Outstanding Manchester primary with strong outcomes • Year 5 Teacher to lead enriching projects and support transition work from January 2026 Year 5 Teacher responsibilities • The Year 5 Teacher will plan and teach engaging, rigorous lessons that prepare pupils for Year 6. • The Year 5 Teacher will run interventions and lead enrichment in maths and writing. • The Year 5 Teacher will support transition planning and moderate work across the phase. • The Part-Time Year 5 Teacher will maintain communication with parents and attend key events. Requirements for the Year 5 Teacher • QTS and solid KS2 experience as a Year 5 Teacher . • Evidence of raising attainment as a Year 5 Teacher , and ability to work collaboratively. • Approachable, organised and reflective practice as a Year 5 Teacher . Start, contract & support This Part-Time Year 5 Teacher post begins January 2026 . The Part-Time Year 5 Teacher will have induction and planning time prior to January 2026 and will be part of ongoing CPD after January 2026 .
