This is a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher role, and the successful Year 1 Teacher will receive a full induction package starting before January 2026 and ongoing mentoring throughout the year. Year 1 Teacher responsibilities As the Year 1 Teacher , you will plan, deliver and assess high-quality, differentiated lessons that build strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing and number. The Year 1 Teacher will use assessment to inform teaching and run targeted interventions. The Year 1 Teacher will develop strong relationships with families and report progress in regular feedback meetings. The Year 1 Teacher will contribute to enrichment activities, pupil leadership and whole-school initiatives. Year 1 Teacher requirements QTS (or equivalent) and recent KS1 experience as a Year 1 Teacher . Confident phonics practice and evidence of improving outcomes as a Year 1 Teacher . Strong classroom management and collaborative approach as a Year 1 Teacher . Contract & start details This is a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher post starting January 2026 .
