Balance Verification Specialist (Remote) Company: Reclatam (Hiring on behalf of a U.S.-based Law Firm) Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Remote (LATAM-based candidates welcome) About the Role Reclatam is hiring a Balance Verification Specialist on behalf of a U.S.-based personal injury law firm. This role is responsible for verifying medical treatment balances and lien amounts by communicating directly with healthcare providers and lienholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling high-volume phone and email communication. Key Responsibilities Contact treating facilities and lienholders via phone and email to verify medical treatment balances Confirm and document lien amounts and outstanding balances for active and settled cases Request balance reductions or negotiations when instructed by attorneys at the time of settlement Handle cases during active treatment as well as post-settlement balance verification Maintain accurate documentation of communications and balance confirmations Update and track balance information in the firms case management system Follow up consistently to ensure timely responses from providers and lienholders Support attorneys and case managers with financial documentation related to settlements Required Skills & Qualifications Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) Reliable internet connection and excellent phone connectivity Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills when interacting with medical facilities and lienholders Basic understanding of medical lien processes and personal injury case workflows Experience requesting medical records (preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Work Environment Fully remote position Full-time schedule aligned with U.S. business hours Fast-paced legal environment with high-volume case handling Independent work with collaborative team support
