About Our Client Our client is an established accounting firm in sunny Cape Coral, Florida offering great pay, benefits and an inviting culture. You are a highly motivated, disciplined and skilled Tax Manager looking for an opportunity to stand out at a small firm and have a work life balance. In this role you will be reviewing tax returns, working with the clients, and helping with mid-level staff. This is an on-site position. One of the senior partners is transitioning into retirement, so there are clear/quick advancement opportunities. Qualifications CPA or EA License Certification (Florida) preferred not required 7+ years of tax preparation Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conduct Able to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment Experience working for a CPA firm required Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. Primary Responsibilities Preparing financial statements and corporate tax returns (may also prepare some personal returns if necessary) Filing payroll tax returns and sales tax returns Assisting clients in resolving tax matters with the IRS Works as required during tax season to meet federal and state deadlines Job Type: Full-time Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year (some flexibility in salary) Benefits: 401(k) matching Disability insurance Health insurance Paid time off #RIMUS
