Finance Executive (AP)

About the position

-Leading provider of commercial and industrial vehicles -Tuas (Company Transport Provided) - Good Remuneration Salary Package: Basic + Bonus + Flexi Claim Responsibilities: Lead the AP team by providing supervision and support to AP assistants, ensuring compliance with group policies and processes. Process AP invoices, including verification, coding, data entry, approval, and matching purchase orders in the ERP system. Manage payment processing, perform weekly payment runs to suppliers and staff, and attend to supplier inquiries. Ensure financial closing timelines are met by preparing accurate journal entries, performing monthly supplier and inter-company reconciliations, and preparing AP-related balance sheet schedules. Continuously improve the Accounts Payable function by identifying irregularities, streamlining work and payment processes, and maintaining processing integrity and accuracy. Handle additional tasks, filing, and projects as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent/relevant education in Accounting. Minimum 3 years of relevant AP experience. Proficient in MS applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Meticulous and numerically inclined. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Pleasant and outgoing personality with the initiative to provide assistance to colleagues. Independent, reliable, organized, and attentive to details. Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency to deliver results in a timely manner. Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX system.
