About the position
A specialist SEN school in Hillingdon is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCo to join their team on a full-time basis with an immediate start available. This is a crucial role within a highly supportive setting, working with students who have a range of complex special educational needs. The Role As SENCo, you will lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school, ensuring that students receive high-quality, personalised support that enables them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, support teams, parents, and external professionals to deliver effective and compliant SEND practice. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing SEND provision across the school Overseeing identification, assessment, and support strategies for pupils with SEND Managing and reviewing EHCPs and ensuring statutory compliance Supporting staff with inclusive strategies, differentiation, and behaviour support Line-managing SEND support staff and contributing to staff development Working closely with external agencies, therapists, and local authorities Maintaining accurate records and contributing to safeguarding procedures The School Environment This SEN school in Hillingdon provides a highly structured, nurturing, and supportive environment for pupils with a range of additional needs.
