About the position

A thriving primary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a motivated Year 4 Teacher for a full-time role beginning January 2026. This Year 4 Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils' core knowledge, encourage curiosity and promote independence. The school values creative teaching and welcomes a Year 4 Teacher who can bring fresh ideas to the KS2 team. The Year 4 Teacher appointed will manage assessments, run booster groups and maintain strong routines within the classroom. Located in the heart of Lambeth, the school benefits from excellent local transport links and a warm, diverse community. A full induction will be provided ahead of January 2026, supporting the Year 4 Teacher to settle quickly. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Year 4 lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum approach. Assess pupil progress and provide timely feedback to pupils and parents. Plan interventions for pupils who need additional support or challenge. Work collaboratively with colleagues across KS2 and contribute to planning cycles. Participate in enrichment and whole-school initiatives. Person specification QTS with strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum. Skilled in delivering engaging, well-paced lessons. Positive, reflective and committed to pupil wellbeing. Able to contribute to team planning and work effectively within Lambeth. Available from January 2026.
