The Opportunity & School Profile This prestigious independent preparatory school, set within charming, historic buildings, seeks a strategic Facilities Manager. The school requires an expert capable of meticulously managing maintenance, preserving the site's unique heritage, and ensuring child safety compliance. This role demands a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Core Responsibilities & Scope Asset Guardian: Developing and implementing PPM strategies for varied building types and managing minor capital projects related to refurbishment. Contract Commander: Full accountability for compliance (H&S, fire safety), negotiating and monitoring external service contracts. Team Leader: Leadership, training, and development of the in-house premises and site teams. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Extensive managerial experience in facilities management (IWFM desirable) and knowledge of maintaining historic school buildings.
