As Nursery Teacher, you will lead planning, assessment and day-to-day routines, and collaborate closely with the Reception team to ensure continuity across the EYFS. Role details: Nursery Teacher – Hemel Hempstead independent school Start Date – January 2026 Contract – Permanent / Term-time Responsibilities (Nursery Teacher): Plan and deliver play-based sessions as the Nursery Teacher. Observe and assess children’s progress and maintain learning records as the Nursery Teacher. Support transitions to Reception and liaise with parents as the Nursery Teacher. Contribute to the independent school’s Early Years improvement plan in Hemel Hempstead. Person specification: Relevant Early Years qualifications and experience as a Nursery Teacher. Strong knowledge of child development and observation practice as the Nursery Teacher. Warm, organised and reflective practitioner suited to an independent school in Hemel Hempstead.
