A thriving primary school in Bradford is recruiting a Premises Officer to support day-to-day site operations, safety checks and facilities upkeep. The Premises Officer will be responsible for routine maintenance, conducting health & safety checks, supporting contractor visits and helping to manage site documentation. Start date is January 2026, with induction and handover planned prior to January 2026. Position details Role: Premises Officer — Bradford Start date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent / Full-Time (school dependent) Main duties Undertake daily site inspections, open/close procedures and monitor security systems. Carry out minor repairs, maintain external grounds and support planned maintenance activity. Complete and log health & safety checks, assist with risk assessments and statutory records. Support lettings, set up for events and ensure the site meets standards for external users. Liaise with contractors, keep accurate records and support the Site Manager with premises projects. Person specification Experience in premises or facilities roles with practical maintenance skills and H&S awareness. Good organisational skills, able to keep clear records and follow compliance procedures. Proactive, flexible and able to work across Bradford, available to start January 2026.
