A vibrant and well-resourced secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated ECT in PE to join their dynamic PE department from September. The Role As an ECT in PE, you will contribute to both practical and theoretical PE teaching across KS3 and KS4. You will be part of an experienced team who will guide, mentor, and support your development throughout your induction years. Your responsibilities include: Delivering PE lessons in a range of sports and physical disciplines Teaching theory content at GCSE/BTEC level as required Supporting clubs, teams, and extra-curricular sports activities Leading warm-ups, drills, and skill-building sessions Encouraging teamwork, resilience, and a healthy lifestyle Assessing student progress and maintaining clear records Engaging fully in the school’s structured ECT programme Contributing to sports days, fixtures, and competitive events This role is ideal for someone who enjoys high-energy teaching, teamwork, and inspiring students through physical activity.
