About the Role A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated German Teacher to join their modern foreign languages department. You'll inspire a love of the German language and culture. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging German Teacher lessons, covering grammar, vocabulary, and cultural topics. Prepare students for examinations and assessments. Develop students' language skills and intercultural understanding. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and resources. Organise and lead German-related extracurricular activities, such as language clubs and cultural exchanges. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in German. Proven experience in teaching German at secondary level. Strong language skills and a passion for German language and culture.
