Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Agricultural Equipment About the Role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established operation servicing and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery and equipment . This is a permanent, full-time position suited to a mechanic with hands-on experience in agricultural or mobile plant environments. Key Responsibilities Service, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and related machinery Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults Perform engine, transmission, and component repairs Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and manufacturer standards Skills and Experience Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent) Proven experience working on agricultural equipment or mobile plant Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems Ability to diagnose faults and work independently Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Clear communication skills in English Additional Requirements Current Australian drivers licence Ability to work in a regional or agricultural environment Willingness to support seasonal workloads and breakdowns, when required Whats on Offer Hourly rate: $45–$50 per hour , depending on experience Permanent, full-time employment Stable workload and long-term opportunity Supportive team environment with appropriate tools and equipment
