We are working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hammersmith that is seeking a committed Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis , starting January 2026 . Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets. Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing. Take part in staff meetings, professional development, and whole-school activities. Year 5 Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Year 5 or Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting. Good understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs. Commitment to professional development and collaborative working. Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching within a team.
