Project Leader / System Design Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a Project Lead/System Engineer to coordinate and drive activities within the Electromobility System Department . This role involves leading system design and project management efforts for electromobility solutions, ensuring smooth execution of technical projects and compliance with industry standards. As a senior project coordinator , you will oversee engineering projects, system architecture, risk management, and resource allocation , working closely with cross-functional teams. This position is a temporary cover for parental leave and offers a chance to contribute to key electrification initiatives . Key Responsibilities ✔️ Project Coordination & Leadership – Manage system development and engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery. ✔️ System Design & Implementation – Define, develop, and refine electromobility system architectures. ✔️ Project Planning & Execution – Oversee schedules, cost estimates, risk assessment, and progress tracking. ✔️ Stakeholder Collaboration – Work with engineering teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure successful project execution. ✔️ Process Improvement – Contribute to refining engineering standards, specifications, and best practices. ✔️ Mentorship & Guidance – Support and coach junior team members, reviewing their work and solving technical challenges. Required Qualifications & Experience ✅ 5+ years of relevant experience in system design and project management , preferably in electromobility or automotive engineering. ✅ Strong knowledge of product development processes and systems engineering . ✅ Experience in project management methodologies , including scope, cost, schedule, and risk management. ✅ Ability to work independently with limited supervision and handle complex problem-solving . ✅ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. ✅ Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
