Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: MPS1 (ECT) – Paid to scale A mixed secondary school located on the Hertfordshire / Northamptonshire border is looking to appoint a Computer Science / IT ECT to join their innovative team. School Description The school teaches around 1,000 students and has seen improving outcomes over recent years. There is a strong emphasis on technology-enhanced learning, digital safety and preparing students for a tech-rich world of work. Computer Science Department Insight The department delivers Computer Science and IT at KS3 and KS4, with pathways for both academic and vocational learners. The team uses a variety of platforms and languages, supported by modern ICT infrastructure. The Role Teaching Computer Science/IT at KS3–KS4 Planning lessons that build students’ confidence with coding, problem-solving and digital literacy Engaging with ECT training, coaching and CPD within a supportive environment Ideal Candidate An ECT with flexibility, enthusiasm, and a desire to help shape a forward-looking digital curriculum.
