Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: MPS1 (ECT) – Paid to scale A large, inclusive secondary school with a thriving Sixth Form in Central Northamptonshire is seeking a Business Studies ECT. School Description The school has around 1,400 students and is rated Good by Ofsted , with a strong focus on personal development, careers guidance and academic achievement. The Sixth Form is well-established, with strong progression routes into university and apprenticeships in business and related fields. Business Department Insight The department offers GCSE Business and vocational/business-related post-16 pathways. Staff work collaboratively on resources, assessments and project-based learning, often linked to real local employers and enterprise projects. The Role Teaching Business Studies across KS4 and contributing to KS5 as you develop Planning and delivering lessons with support from an experienced mentor and department colleagues Supporting enterprise activities, coursework and business-themed projects Ideal Candidate An ambitious ECT with a real interest in applying business theory to real-world contexts and supporting students from a range of backgrounds.
