About the position

An innovative and high-achieving 11–18 school in Dorchester is seeking a Design & Technology ECT to join their Technology Department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent post ideal for an ECT looking to develop practical and creative teaching skills within a forward-thinking environment. About the Role You will deliver DT across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design or Resistant Materials, and support students through the design process from concept to production. The role includes teaching CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and prototyping, and contributing to cross-curricular STEM projects. You will be supported by experienced mentors, access to regular professional development sessions, and time to observe best practice across the department.
