ECT: English Teacher – Join a Literary Faculty with Comprehensive Mentorship and a Focus on Core Literacy and Literary Theory – Tower Hamlets An academically rigorous secondary school in Tower Hamlets is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic ECT of English (Year 1 or 2) to join their successful English department from January 2026. ECT: English Teacher required from January 2026 Tower Hamlets-based school with a dynamic, high-achieving sixth form. You will teach English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4, with opportunities for KS5 involvement. Experience and Qualifications QTS or completing final training in English or Literature. A high level of literary knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject.
