About the position

An inclusive and high-achieving 11–18 academy in Northamptonshire is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Geography to join its Humanities team from September 2026. The school is rated Good by Ofsted and has a long track record of supporting ECTs through structured mentoring, accessible leadership and an open-door culture. The Department The Humanities faculty is dynamic, outward-looking and collaborative. Geography classrooms are equipped with GIS software, digital mapping and interactive displays. The curriculum is knowledge-rich and enquiry-based, connecting theory to real-world geography through fieldwork, sustainability projects and case studies. Trips are an integral part of learning — from local river studies to national park investigations.
